When you ask to join Touchbase2 (TB2), we ask you to give both your name and address via email; this information is seen only by the administrators, and used solely to check whether you are a resident of one of the villages served by TB2; it is not shared with other members of TB2. There is also a link on our sign-up page allowing you to complete the registration process, and the information you give there (your name and email address) will be visible to other TB2 members when you make a post or reply to a post.
Information you post to TB2 will be available to all those who are on TB2, and will be cached in the online archive for up to 28 days. TB2 members will receive your posts via email (or via an email digest, depending on their settings), and we have no control on how long the information will be kept by them.
The archive is only visible to TB2 members who have set up an online account with Gaggle. TB2 are not responsible for information that Gaggle may gather when you set up an account with them.
Your posts should only contain information that you are entitled to share with others - so in general your posts should not contain the email addresses and telephone numbers of other people, for example. (Giving out the public contact details of tradesmen, businesses, organisations etc is a different matter!)
You should not cross-post somebody else's post on another site.
You should not harvest the contact details of TB2 members.
If you leave TB2, please delete all TB2 emails.
